GOOD TO KNOW

Questions, answered.

When in doubt, confirm details with official Trezor documentation.

01Is this the official Trezor setup page?+

No. This is an independent educational guide and is not affiliated with SatoshiLabs or Trezor. For setup, downloads, and support, go directly to trezor.io/start and verify the domain carefully.

02What is Trezor Suite?+

Trezor Suite is Trezor’s companion application for setting up a device, managing supported crypto assets, and updating firmware. Obtain it only from the official Trezor website.

03Can I set up my Trezor without a computer?+

Compatibility and features vary by device and software version. Consult Trezor’s current official documentation for supported mobile setup options; a desktop experience is generally recommended.

04What if I lose my recovery seed?+

A recovery seed is the backup that gives access to your wallet. If it is lost and the device becomes unavailable, the wallet may not be recoverable. Trezor cannot retrieve it for you. Keep it offline and secure.

05How do I check that a device is genuine?+

Buy from Trezor or an authorized reseller and follow Trezor Suite’s authenticity checks during setup. If anything looks unusual, stop and contact official Trezor Support through trezor.io.

06Does Trezor support Bitcoin and other coins?+

Supported assets depend on your device and the current software. Check Trezor’s official supported-coins information for the latest list.
